511PA Travel Info

Public Transit

PennDOT encourages the use of mass transit whenever and wherever possible for travel along the I-95 corridor.  Public Transit is economical, convenient , stress-free and friendly to our environment.

SEPTA provides numerous options. Its R7 Regional Rail Line serves commuters between Trenton, Lower Bucks County and Center City Philadelphia. And a number of bus routes and the Frankford El provide regular service for those living and working in the city's Greater Northeast.

For longer distance travel along the corridor there's the speed, comfort and convenience of Amtrak.

And New Jersey Transit helps provide connections on both sides of the river.

So consider these alternatives before you join the thousands of commuters using I-95.
