6/16/2010 Rt. 15 Trolley to be Rerouted for GIR Construction

SEPTA will reroute the Route 15 trolley -- which runs along Girard Avenue and Richmond Street -- for approximately two years beginning in Spring 2011 during construction on Richmond Street and Girard Avenue that is part of the project to rebuild and improve the I-95/Girard Avenue Interchange .

SEPTA will use busses in place of the trolley for Route 15 service between Griard Avenue at Front Street and Richmond Street at Westmoreland Street. From Girard Avenue, Route 15 Trolley service will be rerouted along Frankford Avenue to a new turn-around that will be built on Delaware Avenue near Shackamaxon Street.
