I-95 Section GIR (I-95/GIR)
I-95 between the Vine Street and Allegheny Avenue interchanges, including the Girard Avenue Interchange
Under this project, PennDOT will reconstruct and improve the interchange at Girard Avenue and approximately three miles of the adjoining interstate. The project will be done under six separate contracts, or Sections.

GIR Construction Update: Winter 2012
Utility Work on Richmond Street, Girard Avenue Bridge Work This Winter
Utility work is under way on Richmond Street from the Delaware Avenue/Aramingo Avenue intersection to Cumberland Street in the first stage of the widening and reconstruction on the east side of Richmond Street in 2012. Richmond Street traffic has been shifted in two lanes to the west in this area. Read more here.
