This aerial photograph shows the changes that will be put in place during the first stage of reconstruction of the Girard Avenue Interchange. The contract for this stage, GR0, will go to bid later this year.

Core Borings

Several crews utilizing soil drills will be conducting sub-surface sampling in the vicinity of the I-95/Girard Avenue Interchange through the end of 2008. The sampling is part of the design activities for the project to improve the interchange and adjacent sections of I-95.

Utility Work

Utilities work on Cottman Avenue between Torresdale Avenue and State Road. The crews are moving poles in advance of construction that will begin later in the month on the first stage of improvements to the I-95/Cottman Avenue Interchange.

Utility Work on Princeton

Utility relocation is underway on Princeton Avenue east of Torresdale as part of the first stage of the project to rebuild the I-95 Cottman Avenue Interchange.
